What Means Motley? - Beloved Feature Film
Three years ago we shot a feature film, did OK, won some festivals…
In 1999, forty-one members of a Romanian folk music choir obtained tourist visas to perform at the Sligo music festival in Ireland. They arrived at Dublin airport, passed through customs control, and promptly disappeared. In the weeks that followed it became humiliatingly apparent that the forty-one were not part of a band - could not, in fact, even sing - but part of a giant immigration scam. What Means Motley is the story of that scam.
THE FILM
“What Means Motley?” was directed by Sector 7’s own John Riley and John Ketchum and stars Barry Mulligan as Mickey, Adrian Ciglenean as Mihai and Irina Dinescu as Catalina.
